Gour de Tazenat

Spent the day feeling like I'm actually on holiday. The sun was shining and we ate breakfast outside at 11am. Afterwards we made a little picnic and headed to the Gour de Tazenat, a lake about 20 minutes from Delphine's. Evidently Ludo and I decided to swim to the other side of the lake, not realising that it was 1km wide! But we made it all the way there and back and rewarded ourselves with icecream based cocktails before another dip in the pool and an aperitif of Polish hazelnut flavoured vodka - that was certainly an experience! Chilled evening outside talking all things teaching, France and the differences between animal sounds in different languages!
