So lovely to spend most of a day with J. She stayed on in Spain, opened her own language school. Three grown-up children and forty-ish years later, she’s just retired. We ate, drank, sat in cool places and talked. Retirement, tattoos, home maintenance ..
After J went home for her “surprise” party, we went to a flamenco event. Very small, intimate, intense; so beautiful I cried
