Board Games
The work day began with me populating an Excel sheet, working out time off over the next few months. It took longer to do than I anticipated. Thankfully, my boss approved it immediately. :))
Once again, my half-day turned into a full working day. G spent the morning and afternoon in the kitchen. She's done a sterling job clearing one corner and even scraping off the paint that has flaked because of an internal leak in the wall.
One of the things she found was a box of hardware. I peeped in and was surprised to learn that we had a sealant gun. How about that?! I would love to enrol myself on a DIY course. The cherry on the cake was to get the stuff we are discarding, out of the flat.
We went to a board games cafe in the evening called Therapy. My blip is of G thrashing me at Ludo, a game I haven't played in decades. I had completely forgotten the rules. We were joined by Shveta and switched to Monopoly. Shveta had not played it before, and I hadn't for years. Once again, G won.
We had a quick dinner at the Golden Dragon across the road from the cafe before getting home. And now, the weekend truly begins.
