It’s been a long day.
Himself, it turns out, has Covid and feels pretty rough. And he topped it off by having a most spectacular fit of choking earlier. (Scary).
We’re ending the day counting blessings, because as he said, when he could breathe again, ‘life really can turn on a sixpence’.

It’s been carnival day in town today. We’ve heard it but, I didn’t feel I should go and stand amongst the melée, like some kind of Typhoid Mary. Obviously Himself wasn’t well enough to even peer outside to sniff the rain. (Such a shame about the rain).

We had tickets for Patchings Art Fair yesterday, and they went by the board too.
Never mind. Stuff happens.
We must embrace it all.
We’re all exactly where we’re meant to be… And some of us are having a small glass of wine.
