Amazing day today.....first visit was to a lavender farm where I tried lavender ice cream....delicious. Then to the Ardeche Gorge which was spectacular. On the way back to the ship we passed the Pont d'Arc, an amazing naturally occuring stone bridge, which I managed to snap through the window of the coach. We stayed up late to see the ship going through the deepest lock in France. At 75 feet deep it's a fantastic feat of engineering. Well worth staying up late to experience.
