New Town Hall

This is the new Town Hall in Hannover. A magnificent building, fully restored after considerable war damage. This is the rear view.

We used the Curved Dome Lift to the top of the bell tower. That was quite an experience.The viewing platform is at a height of 90 metres. It provided some wonderful views over the city, and in the distance you can just make out the peaks of the Harz Mountains.

In the extra I was taking a photo of this old bank building when this young lady came and stood In front of my camera. Then looked away, acting like she did not know I was there. I think she also had a friend doing photos, possibly for Instagram.
