On the canal

A lovely day today. We had a short morning walk. I drove to the top of Foxton then we walked to the locks and had lunch at bridge 61. We walked up to the piggies (years ago there were pigs but no longer). We always look for kingfishers to no avail. I couldn't choose I photo so made a panel.  I loved the colourful canal boat. As we walked the swans and cygnets came swimming towards us. I spotted the heron in the field next to the sheep it actually looks like a chimera. As we sat on the bench by the piggies I heard music and turned and saw people in the air! When the boat came into view we realised it was a very good natured party boat and the boys waved to us. They did turn round and went back down the canal before us almost colliding with the Vagabond.. It was great to see the Vagabond sailing as we thought it was derelict never to move again.
