On The Road Again

Saturday and travelling again, much better experience this week, Sam and I set off at 8:30am for Surrey and my Aunt Vi’s 90th Birthday Bash.
Nice steady journey up arriving at my sisters around 1:00pm, in time for the obligatory coffee, before heading round to Aunt Vi’s at around 2:30.
The next six hours were spent relaxing with, and enjoying my Aunts company. Ninety years old today and the only family member remaining from my mother and father’s generation - what memories we recalled.
Mediocre weather offset by great food, great company, a few beers and a couple of tots of rum.
By 10pm we were back at my sister Jacqui’s and contemplating another early night before heading west tomorrow.
