Friston Forest

A lovely sunny day with a cooling breeze - perfect for our long walk. We took the bus to Exceat and then walked 15 km.... via a craft fair at Westdean (where we bought 3 paintings - to be delivered, 2 jars of local honey, a couple of cakes and a birthday card!). We the continued through the forest, across wheat and barley fields to the pub at Littlington. We enjoyed a drink at the pub and the crossed the Cuckmere to Alfriston and 'producers' market at Rathfinny vineyard. We tasted some wine, bought a couple of bottles, had a picnic in the vines and then continued our walk home.
A couple of hours watching Wimbledon final..... Zzzz
