A Grey Ending

But a lovely day, sunshine this afternoon.  After a gentle start I spent a fair bit of time on tidying and chores.  A couple of loads of laundry too.  There's more of everything when you have a visitor.  I did get to watch some of the Tour.   My interest in it was piqued on visiting the Col de Tourmalet on my first mountain flower holiday and today the riders went over that col.  No flowers today but some exciting action.

Jamie, Mum and Chris came round for a meal this evening.  I cooked a roast and a plum crumble ... it was all very tasty :-)    Lovely to spend time all together and especially lovely to see mum looking and acting more like herself, clearly recovering more from the infection which had us all worried.

A late evening walk with Meg in a familiar spot.  No sunset tonight but it was a peaceful stroll.
