The water tower and Bofors gun at the Sea Cadets

On a walk near Rodborough I came across the Sea Cadets hut and land on a small cut-de-sac lane leading through some woodland. I'd forgotten about the water tower and couldn't resist a shot of it. Part of the reason is because it has this old Bofors Gun just next to the lane, which obviously was used for practice for the cadets imitating firing anti-aircraft shells from the deck of naval vessels.

I wonder if they still practice such skills?

nb Sorry if the image looks a bit wonky. I couldn't get back any further and the iPhone seems to have had a mind of its own in dealing with perspective.
