Memory

Today is my dad’s birthday and I miss him. We are sponsors at the Scottish Flag Heritage Centre at Athelstanford, East Lothian where the flag is flown in his name on his birthday every year. The Centre is in an old doocot with a simple, yet effective audiovisual presentation. It’s a quiet, peaceful spot and we had it to ourselves today. I wished him a happy day and went home to eat pizza with dogs.
