Smelling of roses

England looking good in the cricket - so far.
I’ve been trying to rescue my roses which are climbing up the front of the house. They have taken such a battering in the winds and are all over the place. I’ve picked a few for the house but they don’t last long indoors.
Took the big dog out for a little drive round to pick up plants from a couple of friends who had extras. So a new courgette plant and some kale. Not very exciting but most of our early planting has been washed out or eaten by the slugs!
