Suddenly butterflies

After a dearth of butterflies there are suddenly quite a few around. Yellow swallowtails , today black swallowtails and several least  slippers. The least skippers did not sit still for very long but just buzzed around from flower to flower. There are also little blue azures around. The extra is of a great spangled fritillary  who also likes the coneflowers.
The bad news of the day is Glenn discovered some rust on the pool , which has been a great little pool for the last 22 years. It is currently being drained because the pool guy who built it said that this was very bad and it could rupture at any time. So now we are probably going to need a new pool because I can't imagine not replacing it. It does feel like we are losing an old friend though.
