Busy as a Beaver

Today was closet cleaning day. I haven’t done that for a very long time. I went through both clothes closets and the coat closet and got rid of seven bags of clothes I no longer wear. My sister-in-law Nora asked me what got into me and I think I know the answer. I haven’t been my usual energetic self for quite awhile. I think now that my worry about Mehitabel was percolating under the surface, keeping me feeling a bit depressed and concerned. And a bit helpless as she got sicker and less willing to eat. I miss her but am glad she is no longer suffering. Cory is staying very close to me. He watched most of the job lying on my bed while I worked. I am proud of myself for adding some simplicity to my life.
