A bit more archaeology

We've been before but Carn Euny is always worth a visit - as is the walk to it. An Iron Age village comprising several courtyard houses - unique to the SW - and a fogou. In Scotland it would be called a souterrain.
This example here a mysterious underground circular chamber off a long straight passage. No-one quite knows what they were for. Protection from neighbours or storage of dairy products are two possibilities I have heard.
A pint in the Lamorna Wink on our return to celebrate our safe exit from the underworld.
