Dancers and musicians from Zrece

Today’s event at our local church was to see the performance from dancers and musicians from our twin town of Zrece in Slovinia. They arrived on Friday evening having performed at locations on their journey here, and are moving on to perform in Edinburgh. It was lovely to see young people involved in and enjoying this. They talked to us about the importance of continuing the skills and traditions of the music and dance. I can’t imagine this type of cultural group with this age profile happening here in the UK. An enjoyable start to a dull, wet day.
