Echinacea
When I went to bed last night I wasn’t feeling great, but put it down to tiredness. I didn’t sleep well, and when I got up this morning I wasn’t feeling great. I dragged myself into the shower, thinking that would brighten me up a bit and that I would then work from home. It didn’t. I got half-dressed and had to lie down on the bed. I was feeling rubbish. I messaged work, did a Covid test (it was negative)then crawled into bed. I pretty much slept all day, sustained by ibuprofen, and a piece of toast in the middle of the afternoon.
I got up about 7pm, and heated up a tin of soup, then sat in front of the TV for a wee while. When BB appeared home from rugby training, I went out for a wee bit of fresh air. It was warm and muggy, so no fresh air to be had. I went straight back to bed. BB had his first day of gainful employment today and it seemed to go well. He spent some of the day sitting in a deck chair with his feet up enjoying the sun, apparently! I wish the world of work was like that.
Meanwhile TT was at The National gig at Edinburgh Castle. I should have been there – but I was in my bed. He said it was great and the weather was just perfect.
This ragged flower is in a pot by our back door.
