Evening glory

Quite a warm afternoon in the end. Once we had finished watching the tennis.. (right result.. go Alcaraz!) we both headed out to get some work done in the garden. Lawn cut and some oxeye daisies away from around the terrace before they seed heavily.. it looks tidier now too. This corner is looking fantastic.  I grew these lychnis from seed and absolutely love them in this spot. 
My sister and our eldest and her cat all headed off this morning and peace has returned. I must make an effort to get a few things done this week while no beds and bedding have to be made and washed and no extra meals.
