Wasted Day

I was invited to play golf on the Wirral today. We were just having lunch when the heavens opened and it danced down for at least 15 minutes. This was accompanied by thunder and lightening. The greens flooded. The course was closed. The competition was postponed. Food was ordered so we stayed to eat what should have been our meal after we had played golf. This was the view over the river on my way home at about 3.15. Could have been doing something else. C'est la vie!
