Silly Saturday rolls over into Silly Sunday.

Have you spotted it yet? I'm sure you have ... 

A couple of hours spent on the plot this morning. I harvested lettuce, chipples (spring onions), radish, carrots, courgettes, & lifted potatoes. The slugs have been at it again .... the blighters!!! Never mind. I fed the broad beans, runner beans, & peas with my jollop mix. It must be good, it stinks. My comfrey feed will be ready this week coming. I checked the netting was secure on the soft fruits, patched a couple of holes. Plan to pick the gooseberries tomorrow morning, blackcurrants ready as well. Fingers crossed it's dry. Erected a structure with netting over the brassicas. Bet the butterflies still manage to get through.  Forked a piece of ground ready for my last sowing of beetroot & carrot.

Down to CK. Mum was in a real muddle. I found 2 bowls of porridge with milk, a dollop of clotted cream, & spoon on a side table in the spare room. It had been there a while. Bottle of milk was in the saucepan cupboard, tub of clotted cream in the dry goods cupboard. "We" should have showered this morning but now Monday morning as I was way behind by the time I had put things back where they belonged. Everyday brings new challenges.

We completed the jigsaw puzzle after a coffee. Yay!!

Mum came back to Chudleigh, we had a snack then watched the Men's singles final from Wimbledon. Alcaraz was on his game, Djokovic not, so it was a 3 setter. Good to see the Princess of Wales looking well.
Back to CK, made Mum's meal, salad from the plot, ham from Tesco's.

Football on tv tonight ...... boring!!!!
