Allium and bee

After the hectic day I had yesterday, I am basically doing nothing today. I did go to Bill's briefly to pick up something for the car transfer. We chatted a bit and thinking about a blip I thought this allium was so pretty. The bee just added to it. Someone in the neighborhood has a hive so the bees visit Bill's yard frequently. You can see part of his dog, Archer, behind the flower.

Yesterday was a lot of fun. The potluck out at a classmate's property turned out to be a hoot. There were probably about 25 people there including some spouses. That's not too bad for a non-reunion year. I caught up with people and talked to others that I hadn't in years. It's a good thing that someone brought a yearbook. I kept looking at a guy and we didn't know who it was. We figured it out but he looked nothing like he did in high school. It was fun to hear what he had been up to. 
I was very tired today mostly, I believe, from the crazy heat yesterday. It was 95 F and was a record for Laramie. Today is cooler and there is a little rainstorm going on.
