Step back in time

This afternoon, I cycled around an area of town I hardly ever seem to get to. No particular reason, just off my track, and not on the way to anywhere I need to get to.
It's always nice to discover pastures new.

And new social sofas, this one, for example. Under a group of trees, it's become rather grubby. Not for the first time did I wish I'd taken a bucket of water with me to clean it down first!

Whilst I was there I received a call from a friend; did I fancy cycling down to a small lake called 't-Zand. Did I!
Met up with him at the central library and we set off.
I took a few of the place itself, but it's been a cloudy day, the photos just didn't seem good enough somehow.
