Scotland's Greatest Living Artist

When leafing through The Sunday Herald I saw this article on Alan Davie, described as Scotland's greatest living artist. Rung a few bells and then it clicked. In the really ugly shopping centre in Grangemouth (his place of birth) there is this remarkable mosaic by Davie. This picture probably doesn't do it justice as it's quite high up on the build, but it does measure some 10 by 30 feet or so.

Not sure it is universally loved in the town, but then again it is certainly the only thing worth saving in this 1970's monstrosity.
