Day 1

And Eda is ready for school early! 

Amazing really when you think what time she got to bed. Neighbours J & L were taking her to school with their two children so we just had to send her round next door at 8.30am.

Jude on the other hand wasn't for getting up at all but luckily she doesn’t go to nursery on Mondays so we let her sleep a while. She too was remarkably cheerful once she was up. Plans that we had for today had to be forgotten as all that lovely summer weather from yesterday has disappeared and it has been grey and wet all day so far.

We went into Larkhall to Ma Cuisine for a coffee, it was very busy. Jude had an ice cream and then declared she was hungry so she had a Pain au Chocolate too.

Back home  she watched some TV before lunch and then luckily Granny had brought a sticker book with her with the theme of summer,  so we’ve been doing that to let Boppa watch his lunchtime news!

We’ll soon be going to collect Eda as there is no Explorers club tonight after school. Normally she goes swimming on Monday but not this week.
Then it will be what to have for tea!

All good so far then though we will have two to get ready in the morning but they will both be out all day till 5.30.

The parents arrived safely at about the same time as Eda was leaving for school, I never heard them leave.

After such a full and fun day yesterday I think  we’re all a bit weary so a slow day isn’t  a problem.
