End of the world as we know it.

Is it the end of the world as we know it or can I come out now?

It was a bit of a sad end to our first cocoon today. Four maggots creeped out of it looking very guilty (well, I could be personifying a bit). So I guess it was predated by the dreaded fly that hides in the caterpillar's food and eats it from the inside. Ick.
