Sunday

We had a lazy start and did a bit of pottering before heading off to a local house/garden which was open under the NGS - only two days a year so today was the day.  We arrived just after two and it was packed - £5.00 for the chosen charity.  The garden was amazing and full with lots of colour and a variety of plants.  We queued for tea and cake but it was crowded so we decided not to bother, instead saw a sign for the adjacent church which was open and fortuitously also serving tea and cake.  The views over the Weald were amazing so we sat and ate our (rather small slice) cake and cup of tea and enjoyed the silence and views.

Home to sit in the garden for a bit while OH watched the tennis.  Steaks on the BBQ so it was an easy dinner followed by a disappointing evening - it didn't come home after all?
