Lizard in the Sun
After a rather heavy disappointing night with the football where plenty of beer was drank a steady morning was on the cards .
A productive morning with a load of washing done and on the line drying and some cobwebs removed it was then time to go find a blip.
Julie had caught the train to Retford as Jeri was taking her out for lunch so Julie told me to go find a blip that she would be envious of. I decided to head to Hartsholme park for a walk in the lovely sun.
After been stood around watching dragonflies and butterflies I was about to leave when I spotted a small lizard on the log pile enjoying the sun, i moved to try get a shot and it dashed back under the logs. I decided to hang around and stay still in the hope it might come back out and yes thankfully it did. I enjoyed watching it for around 10 - 15 minutes moving across the logs and manged a few shots spoilt for choice I have gone with this one more can be seen on Flickr I have included an extra of a 2nd lizard I spotted on the same logs but it soon vanished .
Back home for a spot of lunch and then I decided to sort the hanging baskets and planters out and went and got a selection of flowers for them from B&M all planted and looking good just before the rain arrived at least that saves me having to water them.
A relaxed chilled evening is now on the cards
