Fundraising and Grub Club Lunch
An early Blip as I am currently resting after an epic paced walking session. Relax and recharge time tonight. I’ve been awake since 5am and it’s 5pm now…long day!
I am feeling the burn all over my body but it is worth every bit of extra chronic and fatigue to feel like I am making a difference to those with breast cancer, now and and in the future.
I have overexerted myself (over 18,000 steps, see extra) but it’s helping my mood and to keep the four and a half stone I lost in 2020-2021 off. Still fitting into Small and Size 8 and 10 clothes.
I went to Lochside today for the Grub Club lunch at the Community Centre, today’s Blip pic. Pasta Carbonara with garlic bread, absolutely delicious.
The volunteers are amazing and their kindness and time is much appreciated, always a warm welcome. I didn’t have the garlic bread as my IBS is not a fan.
I attended a drop in for my health today. It went well. I was meant to go for bloods elsewhere today but decided to reschedule for later in the week due to having conflicting commitments.
I have Duolingo music (piano/keyboard) and Ukrainian to work on tonight and need to catch up with Blip. Long overdue…
I am off to fight with a bin bag - it will likely win!
I have cut my Mum off again after she upset on the phone over the weekend. She is selfish. I need to cut all contact for good and accept that she will never change her attitude towards me.
Supporting her last Thursday to have her mammogram whilst in fibro agony wasn’t enough for her…my younger brother is her favourite adult child. If I had chosen to have children, I would never have had favourites.
