Some evening primrose flowers at dusk

We've had evening primrose flowers in the garden for many years, but each year they seem to pop up in new places. This year I've been rather surprised by their sudden appearance because we just haven't spent as much time outside given the wet and cool weather this spring and summer.

But their arrival is good surprise and I hope their flowers will flourish once more, and their seeds spread even further afield.
