Circle Time!
My first visit to Pollok since the end of June. The Himalayan Balsam is rearing its ugly head again. The flowers are quite pretty but the plant is so invasive that it has become a real pest.
Walking along by the river I spotted in one of the fields this group of young Highland Cattle. Most definitely not full grown and judging by the size of the horns these are some of last year's calves.
The weather conditions this morning were perfect for butterflies but not one to be seen even in the Gazebo garden where they are often found on the masses of Fleabane that are now in flower.
