I went to work. I worked. Went to the other surgery at lunchtime for a meeting. Came back. Worked some more. Saw two patients face to face, as well as making phone calls. Caught the bus home because it was still raining. 

I am now looking at a travel brochure while the rain pours down from a leaden sky.
