Angels . . .

She is as her name suggests! Her and her husband’s 34th wedding anniversary fell exactly one day after ours. Close neighbours in our passageway, her husband, Jordi, is presently bed-bound with multiple cancers and we all fear/know the worst is not far away. Nevertheless, Angels donned her wedding dress, now with a flamengo hue, and presented us with these lovely lilies. Later, we took a framed photo of them when they restored our roof terrace in 2020 and shared a glass of cava and some ‘hoot’ moments with them in their house, as Jordi lay on his bed. We pray and hope for a miracle and give thanks for a wonderful few hours together on this special day for them.
