Angels and Jordi

First of all, thank you all for the generous sprinkling of hearts and stars for our wedding anniversary shot yesterday!

Angels and Jordi, close neighbours in our passageway, celebrate their wedding anniversary one day after ours. We got married in the same year. Sadly, Jordi is very ill with cancer and is bed-bound at the moment. Everyone in the passageway is excellent at giving support, whether it’s popping in to give a bit of company, shopping, or help in transporting Jordi to the hospital for appointments.

Angels came to our door in the morning with this lovely lily for us and then we spent some time with them in their house later in the afternoon. Despite the circumstances, we shared some cava, cake and stories. Angels, bless her, even donned her now-dyed wedding dress for the occasion. See Bb’s blip for another shot of the day.

As our regular friends on here will know, the car in the background is ours, and it was our wedding car.
