Moving

With Penicuik's two other resident Turfers away on holiday, I hold almost all the zones, so went up to Uttershill Castle with Django to take its zone. The view was good, but there were so many flies. Half way, I can take a short cut through the large garden of friends, and this morning I met Johnny in the driveway unloading timber from his car. He wanted to ask about the Faroes, because he's thinking of going with mates when his wife is walking in Cyprus with A. Hence I went in for a mug of tea. 

Back home, I did some work before daughter K heard from her solicitor that she could collect the keys to the flat that she's bought. Hence we went into Edinburgh and, after getting the keys, she went to the flat to check they worked, and I went to hire a van. We met at the self storage place and emptied the unit. After unloading at the flat, I had a tour. It's quite neat and, although it's a bit dark, good value for being so central. 

After driving back, we all took advantage of A being away to have a Chinese carry-out.
