Da Erter Bairns

A fine calm day, but misty and drizzle showers from time to time.  Drier tonight, still misty. A lot of midgies around today! 

Up early, headed out walkies with Sammy, popped by Madeline's for a cuppa.  Met up with the family this morning, popped by Jimmy and Marina White, then lunch at Hoswick again.  Headed back to Laura's, cuddles from Kitty.  Met friend Julie for walkies before tea.  Working in the shop this evening.  A fairly quiet night, until the last hour dash.  Walkies with Sammy, then feet up.

A trip down memory lane this morning.  Me, mam, Laura, uncle Michael and June, aunt Carol, uncle Mark and Keiran all headed to the old family homestead.  I've blipped it many times, always sad to see it fall into disrepair.  Lots of reminiscing and happy memories really brought the old house alive today.  As said before, mam was born here, and grew up with her two youngest siblings here.  The window on the right was the sitting room.  The Erter (Arthur) bairns outside their old home, mam, uncle Michael and aunt Carol.  Taken at Maywick.
