In a panic this morning I jumped on my bike and cycled up to the garage and declared myself to be the biggest idiot in the village. Over the last few days I’ve had a nagging feeling the car must be due something. I went on the government site and realised my MOT had expired. I was mightily relieved and grateful when he said he’d do it tomorrow. 
Phew … what a star : )

I went on a cycle circuit of relief to Kirkby Thore and called by Acorn Bank for a walk before heading back home to get my house in order … it might be too late to sort out my head but at least I can do a bit of work on the garden. I also had more luck with bread making after P had given me some of his yeast yesterday. I’d break my foot if I dropped Saturday’s loaf on it.
