Bus Pass Walk

Backblip for Tuesday 9/7.  What an awful rainy morning, but supposedly it was meant to ease off as the morning went on.....hmmmm. 3 of us set off and caught the first bus that arrived. 2 others changed their mind about not walking and had caught the bus we had originally planned for.  We had got off the bus when we heard, so decided to continue our walk through Beckfoot, and meet them at Tarquin's cafe in Myrtle Park which worked well. The two photos are of the misty, rain soaked lower parkland.  After refreshments we decided to brave the relentless rain and walk up 5 Rise Locks and have lunch at the cafe there as we hadn't been for a while. Luckily the rain eased off quite a bit as we walked. Walking carefully as there were tiny froglets on the towpath! After lunch a walk back into Bingley and then the bus home.  Felt good to be out in spite of the rain!
