Celebration of the Lizard

Another day at the beach. I sense a pattern developing. A really hot day and a good paddle in the sea was required to keep the temperature down. However, we still found the time to construct this chap.

According to Fitz Jnr, it's an Eatodaddysaurus, although it had a few names over the course of the day. By the time we left late in the afternoon, there were a few children waiting to stake a claim to him.

We also found loads of hermit crabs, a couple of baby flounders and a shore crab, all of whom ended up in the bucket.

Should you ever go to St Andrews, I thoroughly recommend Kingsbarns beach as an interesting alternative to the West Sands. A 15 minute drive south on the road to Crail and you're there.
