Birthday blip

From earlier on when we stopped for yet another cold drink in the city centre of Madrid.
A great idea (mine) to get away.
But my word it's hot.
Like super hot, like 38 degrees hot!
But I'm not complaining ...

Had a lovely walk through the park, ice cream in the sun, wander round an art museum - lots of religious old masters etc.
rounded off with tapas and beer.

Stunning architecture with a surprise round every corner- and they live it when you try and speak pigeon Spanish! Well. They laugh.
