I felt I ought to celebrate the Royal visit…

… so headed down to town this morning.
I’ve never been one to line up and wave at the monarch. I was only about 7 or 8 when the Queen visited and all the island school children were supposed to gather at Cambridge Park to see her. I told my mum I didn’t want to and she was happy with that. I’m not sure what we did that day but it didn’t involve waiving at the Queen. My dad was at work so I assume that unlike today that day was not declared a Public Holiday.

Today’s celebration involved two scoops of Carte D’ Or ice cream in a cornet; triple chocolate and pistachio! Fit for a King! I thought of taking a pic of my cornet but by no stretch of the imagination was it suitable for Tiny Tuesday!!
