Ageing Bumblebee

This bumblebee is an old one, or so I believe. Its colours are fading through ageing in sunlight. I'd gone out to find a blip of the lady's bedstraw I'd noticed a few days ago but I prefer the old bee feeding in the vetch. Its proboscis is working hard. If you're able to go large you can see a tiny spherical raindrop by its eye.

Yesterday evening was lovely and I was out pottering in the garden till well after 9pm. This morning - wet. The weather is just so unsettled. No watering required. 

I'm hoping to get out for a walk this afternoon but I'm disinclined to get soaked so we will see.
