Model Aircraft
Finally got around to photographing my latest model planes today. It was a bit of a wet morning as the British summer drips on and on…
The main photo is a Consolidated B24-H Liberator - which, according to Wikipedia, holds records as the world's most produced bomber, heavy bomber, multi-engine aircraft, and American military aircraft in history. It was used extensively in WWII. The kit is from Airfix. A scale of 1:72 gives the model a wingspan of 465mm (18.3 inches).
I have added an extra of a Republic Thunderbolt P47-M… an American WWII fighter. This kit is from Revell and is also 1:72 scale with a wingspan of just 172mm (6.7 inches)…
Latest tank model progressing very slowly :-(
