Graduation

Sussex University put on a great show for graduation, which takes place over four days. Chancellor Sanjeev Baskar clearly enjoys the occasion and makes it fun for everyone, encouraging much whooping and cheering from the audience and much hugging and kissing from the 'graduands'. Here is my son J getting a hug and a pat on the back from the Chancellor.

Afterwards everyone one goes to the gardens of the Pavilion for the obligatory hat-throwing picture. I don't think anyone had thought of doing that in my day......
