Quiet skifield

Mt Dobson is my favorite ski field. It is so quiet mid-week that you can think you're the only skier on the field. Also, the staff are really friendly. It was cold today, with a light easterly breeze. The ice on the car park never melted even a little bit, so care was needed negotiating it in ski boots.

There were some lovely ice patterns on the snow slopes, where snow had blown, melted, and frozen again. I didn't take my camera up on the lift, though, as we were too busy skiing. So just a couple of shots from the car park was all I managed yesterday. I was hoping for some interesting skies on the way home, but nothing materialised.
