Apple blossom

Our apple trees have been stuck in pots while the house was rebuilt and the garden was a building site. They are very pot bound and plagued by aphids and ants. This winter they went into the ground and this spring they were covered in flowers and now leaves. We won't let them bear fruit for a few years to get their strength up though. I think this year they were just happy to be growing...!
