Proud Preston's new graduates!

Not sure if this was Dutch courage before their graduation ceremony ... or liquid relief that they didn't fall off the stage or embarrass themselves. Oh! Or maybe it was because they did both of these...

It was great to see all these young folk milling about the sunny streets around The Guildhall with proud parents hovering around and taking photos. My sister was doing exactly the same thing (no doubt) with her son, in Newcastle. Quite right too ..

It doesn't seem all that long ago since that was me at the Royal Albert Hall! Actually it was!!
