Calton Hill

Seen from Leith Street as I was going home following a talk by Giles Brandreth on his book, The 7 Secrets of Happiness, hosted by Topping & Co book shop. He was very entertaining and certainly made me feel happier just listening to him. I also now have the book, courtesy of JMc. The day had had some amazing downpours but when we came out from the talk it was a lovely evening.

I have a confession to make and that's that I have never been up Calton Hill. I really ought to do something about that - soon! Here's some info about what I've been missing all these years.

I've just learnt that this is my 4,745th entry. Blip did tell me it was coming up but I'd forgotten about it. Never mind, Blip is a record of my everyday life, so this is as good as anything else, really.
