Sea Tree
What a difference a day makes.
After a rainy day yesterday, I took a trip into Lyme Regis, the "Pearl of Dorset", a seaside town on the Jurassic Coast. After a bit of a cloudy start (extra) it turned out to be a warm Summer's day and I had a lovely time exploring the fossil beaches, harbour and town with its views across the bay to the Golden Cap, the highest point on the South coast.
Heading back to the car I made one last trip down onto the east beach looking for fossils. Sadly I didn't see any, but I did spot this sprig of seaweed looking just like a tiny tree. It was then time for the steep climb (over 130 steps) back up to the car park and back to my holiday cottage.
