Tatarian Maple

As I left school today I was noticing the bright red in these trees. I realized it was the seeds and not flowers. I got an ID from my phone. To me the leaves don't look very maple like but the seeds sure do. But they are so red. I guess they do okay in this environment because now as I'm driving around town I see a lot of them.
